Clients reviews about Roadcrafts Self Drive Cars Dehradun

~ Rahul j

I came from Maharashtra and we contacted Mr. Sayyad from Roadcrafts. He assisted us to rent their Car for our trip from Dehradun to Badrinath. We rented VW Ameo from Roadcrafts. The vehicle was in good condition, we had some heater related problems in the mountains. However Mr. Sayyad guided us via a phone call. You can trust Roadcrafts for your next trip. 👍 Note :- Take a photograph of the dashboard for KM reading to avoid issues during returning the car, also ask them beforehand about how much petrol is there in the car before you rent the car and fill the same amount from the nearby fuel pump and show them receipt to avoid unnecessary charges during return of the car. Also take video of the car from all over and all the angles. ~ Sanket D

We had taken a self-drive car from Dehradun to Mussoorie for five days. To start with, they responded very quickly in just one call and shared the details and their tariffs via WhatsApp right away. Prices were reasonable, and we blocked a car with an advance amount. Later on, when we picked up the car, we had to pay the rent along with a security deposit, which was clearly noted down in the bill. The staff clearly explained the terms and conditions and gave us the car with a full tank of fuel. When we returned the car, the whole security amount was returned to us without any deductions. Overall, a great experience since the cars were in good condition and the staff was really helpful with fast processing and response. Also, a special mention to the owner, who was a really sweet guy. I totally recommend this service if you are looking to rent a car from Dehradun 👍. ~ Havan K

This was my second time when i took car for as self drive. Syyed ji guide you through the formalities and know about of what to do and what not to. He will keep one of your ID card along with security money as mutually decided. The process is very easy and will be completed in no time. Cars are in good condition. I took Toyota glanza, which was very new and driven very less. He will ask you to record a video of the car so that you be aware of the scratches or dent, if any and also ask you to take a photo of the dashboard. I loved it and will definitely take it again if I plan to visit Dehradun again. ~ Mohit S

We rented a self-drive car for an 11-day trip covering the Chardham yatra and Rishikesh, and the experience was flawless. Driving on challenging roads requires a highly reliable and well-maintained vehicle, and the car provided was in absolute pristine condition. It handled the steep inclines, rough patches, and long daily drives perfectly. The rental process was transparent, the paperwork was quick, and the team was very supportive. Highly recommend them for anyone looking for a stress-free self-drive experience in Dehradun. Jamaal Bhai is the best!! ~ Rajath N

Dear Self Drive Car Rental Dehradun Team, I am writing to share my feedback following my recent 6-day rental of the Nexa Fronx. Our experience with your team was excellent from start to finish. The initial process of clearing our doubts and visiting your office was very professional. We particularly appreciated being allowed to inspect the car and take it for a test drive before making any payments; this transparency built a great deal of trust and ensured a smooth start to our trip. The Nexa Fronx was in great condition and performed exceptionally well as we traveled around Dehradun, Haridwar, Rishikesh, and Devprayag. Furthermore, the pick-up and drop-off facility at the airport was incredibly convenient. We were especially impressed that our security deposit was refunded within minutes of handing over the vehicle. Thank you for the wonderful service. We will certainly choose Self Drive Car Rental again whenever we return to Dehradun. Best regards, ~ Vinod R

Convenient and Reliable Car Rental at Dehradun Airport I recently rented a car at Dehradun Airport, and I couldn’t be more satisfied with the experience. The process was quick and hassle-free, and the car was delivered right at the airport as promised, saving me a lot of time. The vehicle was in excellent condition—clean, well-maintained, and perfect for driving through the hilly terrain of Uttarakhand. What stood out was the punctuality and professionalism of the staff. The car was delivered on time, and I was given all the necessary information to ensure a smooth ride. Having rented cars at various airports, I can say that the service at Dehradun Airport is a notch above, with no hidden charges or surprises. If you’re planning a trip from Dehradun Airport and need a reliable self-drive car rental service, I highly recommend giving them a try. It was a great experience, and I’ll certainly be using this service again for my future trips. Thanks Roadcrafts ~ maaz f

I hired a venue for 4 days at Dehradun and had a super experience. Absolutely professional service, on time pickup and drop. Hassle free documentation and communication. Quality of the car was speak and span. They have good range of small and mid segment cars. They also have ertiga, fortuner and qualis. The manager Mr. Syyad Jamal, was very kind to guide me about the local sightseeing at Mussoorie, where to go and where not to go. My search for self-driven car ends here, I'm going to hire car from #self-drive-cars-dehradun and recommend all self drive enthusiasts to try out this option. ~ Plaboni M

Car was in good condition and clean. Pickup at airport was on time with no need to wait and same for the drop as well You're technically driving a yellow number plate car and i was unsure if that was legal (unlike zoom such gets your a proper agreement) but faced no issues anyway Just that cars are charged per day (not 24 hours) and so you ever yo paying for whole day even if partially used (zoom would charge per hour). But managed to get then to charge from day 2 (collected car at 8pm on day 1) Summary: Worth hiring car and good service. Dec 22-Jan23. ~ Ajai V

Had a very seamless and hasslefree experience of hiring a self driven scorpio for my recent trip to Kedarnath and Badrinath. The vehicle was delivered and collected at the airport as promised. The paperwork and handing over procedure was clear and transparent with terms and conditions explained professionally. Most importantly the vehicle was clean, in very good driving condition and had half tank full of fuel. I am very satisfied with the overall experience. Well done to Mr Syed Jamal and his team. ~ Chakrapani D

Dependable car hire for self drive. Very smooth experience which included airport pick up both ways at extra cost ( but cheaper than a taxi from airport). Car was in good condition, really reasonable rates. 5k deposit was refunded immediately on return of car. Was met at the airport on the way out punctually with no issues. Highly recommend. Overall rating Car condition - 4 Car cleaning - 4 Pricing - 5 Overall experience - 5 ~ Anand C
