I came from Maharashtra and we contacted Mr. Sayyad from Roadcrafts. He assisted us to rent their Car for our trip from Dehradun to Badrinath. We rented VW Ameo from Roadcrafts. The vehicle was in good condition, we had some heater related problems in the mountains. However Mr. Sayyad guided us via a phone call. You can trust Roadcrafts for your next trip. 👍 Note :- Take a photograph of the dashboard for KM reading to avoid issues during returning the car, also ask them beforehand about how much petrol is there in the car before you rent the car and fill the same amount from the nearby fuel pump and show them receipt to avoid unnecessary charges during return of the car. We had taken a self-drive car from Dehradun to Mussoorie for five days. To start with, they responded very quickly in just one call and shared the details and their tariffs via WhatsApp right away. Prices were reasonable, and we blocked a car with an advance amount. Later on, when we picked up the car, we had to pay the rent along with a security deposit, which was clearly noted down in the bill. The staff clearly explained the terms and conditions and gave us the car with a full tank of fuel. When we returned the car, the whole security amount was returned to us without any deductions. Overall, a great experience since the cars were in good condition and the staff was really helpful with fast processing and response. Also, a special mention to the owner, who was a really sweet guy. This was my second time when i took car for as self drive. Syyed ji guide you through the formalities and know about of what to do and what not to. He will keep one of your ID card along with security money as mutually decided. The process is very easy and will be completed in no time. Cars are in good condition. I took Toyota glanza, which was very new and driven very less. He will ask you to record a video of the car so that you be aware of the scratches or dent, if any and also ask you to take a photo of the dashboard. Car was in good condition and clean. Pickup at airport was on time with no need to wait and same for the drop as well You're technically driving a yellow number plate car and i was unsure if that was legal (unlike zoom such gets your a proper agreement) but faced no issues anyway Just that cars are charged per day (not 24 hours) and so you ever yo paying for whole day even if partially used (zoom would charge per hour). Dependable car hire for self drive. Very smooth experience which included airport pick up both ways at extra cost ( but cheaper than a taxi from airport). Car was in good condition, really reasonable rates. 5k deposit was refunded immediately on return of car. Was met at the airport on the way out punctually with no issues. Highly recommend.
